05-15: 2012 Summer Men's Modified
opened Tuesday night at Franklin Park and Merkel.

Clark drives in 4, Ish throws 5 hit shut out in opener
Spikes opened the 2012 season with a 11-0 win over Egger's Meats Tuesday night on Franklin #3. Sean Clark led the offense with a double and 4 RBI's. Kevin Isherwood(1-0) picked up his first win and scattered 5 hits over 5 innings, walking none and striking out 1.


05-14:2012 Columbia Basin Invite: Spokane went 2-3 taking 3rd place in the 1st Annual K-Club Invite tournament at Paul Lauzier field in Moses Lake, WA. Spokanes 3 loses were to the runner up K-Club and twice to the Champions, Lacey A's. Jim Robinson picked up a Win and a Save, Will Villafane picked up a W as well. Spokane was led by Cody Wagner in hitting, Cody had 7 hits on the weekend and 3 RBI's.

 

2012 Men's Spokane Fastpitch Club: will open its season in Las Vegas at the Arizona Charlie's NAFA Nationals qualifier tournament April 13-15. 2011 Souvenirs Brandon Bussard, Mike Koentopp, Jim Robinson, and Cole J. Young will combine forces with the Spokane Generals. More info on Las Vegas Road Trip V.  


2012 Finals February 4th-5th the Grinders and Maxwell House will get the bye. 9 am games Saturday will be Team Joe Cushner vs. Absolute Edge and Stricks vs. The Yak. For more info visit peckycox.com.  For pictures from last weekend click here.

2012 Snowshoe Softball:

2011 Summer Men's Fast-pitch Champions


08-11: Yak scores 4 in 6th for WIN; Souv's Summer Champs! Souvenirs were up early in final game of summer, but fell to the Yak 9-6. Mike Koentopp and Cole J. Young each had 3 hits and Sean Sullivan was 2-4 at the plate...>

08-09: Liberty K's 6 in WIN, Young hits Grand Slam Wade Liberty struck out 6 in 4 innings giving up 2 runs, one earned for the victory. Kevin Isherwood came in to shut down the Generals in the final two innings, Ish was 1-2 at the plate with a walk. Corey Freuen went 2-3 with two singles, two runs scored, and an RBI. Mike Koentopp was 2-2 with two singles...>

08-03: Young homers in 4-1 Win: Jim Robinson settled in to pick up the win after giving up a run in the bottom of the first. Mike Koentopp was 2-4 at the dish with two doubles and a run scored. Jim was 1-3 with the game winning RBI. In the seventh Cole J. Young hit a 2-run home run...>

07-23: Spokane 5-0 to WIN Missoula Invite: Jim Robinson went 3-0 on the mound giving up 3 runs in the tourney and winning the championship game. Mike Koentopp won the Home Run Derby with 24 to top all other hitters second place had 9 home runs. Brandon Bussard lead the team in hits with 9, 5 of them triples. Cole J. Young had 7 hits; HR, 2 BB, and 2 doubles. Mike and Jim were Co MVP's. 

07-18: Souvenirs have a bye this week: short stop Mike Koentopp, 2B Brandon Bussard, P Jim Robinson, and catcher Cole J. Young will head to Missoula Friday July 22nd for a fast-pitch tourney comprised of the 4 teams in Spokane. 

07-13: Koentopp drives in 6 with 4-4 performance
Jim Robinson and Kevin Isherwood combined for a 5 hitter while striking out 7. Dave Wheeler was 2-3 with 2 RBI's and Mike Koentopp went 4-4 with 6 RBI's and 2 doubles.

07-06: Bertholf triples and scores in 7th for 1-0 WIN
The game remained scoreless until the top of the seventh when Travis Bertholf(1-3;R;3B;SB)tripled and scored on a first and third delayed steal. Jim Robinson pitches seven scoreless innings and struck out 6.

06-29: Postponed

06-22: Yak rally to score 5 in the sixth to give the Souvenir's there first loss of the year. Mike Koentopp was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. Brandon Bussard was 2-3 with a walk.

06-15: Postponed

06-08:4 Run 7th lifts Souv's to Win; Wheeler 3-3 2 2B's 2 RBIsJim Robinson came in relief in the sixth for the Win, walking one and striking out 5.Dave Wheeler was 3-3 with 2 doubles, a run scored, and 2 RBI's. Corey Freuen(1-4;R;2B;2RBI) also drove in two. Mike Koentopp(1-4;R;2RBI) drove in the game winning run with a single to center, scoring two.>

05-27: Souvenirs WIN 14-10, take over 1st, Robinson K's 8

Jim Robinson pitched 5 shutout innings for the victory, giving up 3 hits, walking 2, and striking out 8. Mike Koentopp was 4-4 at the dish with 3 RBI's, 4 runs, and 2 3B's. Brandon Bussard was 2-4, 2R,2B,3B. Mike Ehrgott hit his first HR, going 1-3 with 3 RBI's...>

05-22: Souvenirs Win by forfeit and Generals break out late to win 9-2 over the Yak. Generals and Souvenirs battle Wed. the 25th for first place at 8:30 Merkel #2. 

05-12: Souvenirs open 2011 with 15-0 WIN Jim Robinson pitched 4 shutout innings giving up two hits and striking out five...Cole J. Young(3-3;4R;2 2B;HR;BB;2RBI) Homered in the first for the game winning RBI. Mike Koentopp(3-4;3R;HR;4RBI) homered in the 4th...>

Spikes Souvenirs WIN 2011 Spring Fling

Souvenirs opened the 2011 season with a 5-1 tournament record to take the Spokane County Parks and Rec Spring Fling Championship. Although the Souvenirs will be playing Fast pitch this year, it was a great weekend to be at the park with friends. Look forward to Bowling-4-Bucks on April 30th.
